The Republic of Thieves - Scott Lynch

My full review is here: http://www.tenaciousreader.com/2013/09/23/the-republic-of-thieves-by-scott-lynch/

Absolutely loved reading another book by Lynch, revisiting the young Gentleman Bastards and seeing where Locke is now. Also, meeting Sabetha both then and now. My wait for The Thorn of Emberlain has begun, in the mean time, this is one book I do suspect I will reread.

Locke & Key, Vol. 1: Welcome to Lovecraft - Joe Hill, Gabriel Rodríguez

My first graphic novel. Really enjoyed it, the artwork is amazing, the story is haunting, glad I gave it a go.

The Folding Knife - K.J. Parker

Loved this book! Basso is fascinating, loved the politics. Very much a book that relates easily to the real world, and one that I think people should read. Ill definitely be reading more by Parker.

The Rose and the Thorn (The Riyria Chronicles, #2) - Michael J. Sullivan

Full review: http://www.tenaciousreader.com/2013/09/18/the-rose-and-the-thorn-by-michael-j-sullivan/

Pretty much really enjoyed it. Every bit as fun to read as Riyria Revelations.

Emperor of Thorns - Mark Lawrence

I really enjoyed this. An unexpected ending. Beautifully done. I wrote a very spoiler filled blog post on my thoughts about it http://www.tenaciousreader.com/2013/09/01/my-very-spoiler-filled-thoughts-on-the-broken-empire-by-mark-lawrence/

Steelheart (Reckoners, #1) - Brandon Sanderson

Pretty much, a fun very action packed story with super-villians.

Blood Song (Raven's Shadow, #1) - Anthony Ryan

Here's my full review: http://www.tenaciousreader.com/2013/08/09/blood-song-by-anthony-ryan/

In short, an amazing book, worthy of the praise it has received.

The Crown Tower - Michael J. Sullivan This was, once again, a very fun story and while I may not rate it quite as high as I did Riyria Revelations, I am really looking forward to reading on, as The Rose and the Thorn continues the adventures of Royce and Hadrian and the beginning of Riyria.

The Whitefire Crossing - Courtney Schafer Here's my full review: http://wildersbookreview.com/2013/08/13/the-whitefire-crossing-by-courtney-schafer/

Really enjoyed this and am looking forward to reading Tainted City.
The Red Knight - Miles Cameron This is very much an epic book with wonderful prose. But prepare for a time investment to come up to speed on everything. Personally, I think it was worth it.

Poison - Sarah Pinborough, Les Edwards This is not your Disney fairy tale. It is much, much better. And much more wicked.

The Daylight War (Demon Cycle, #3)

The Daylight War (Demon Cycle, #3) - Peter V. Brett I put my thoughts on this one on my blog. Full of spoilers. Pretty much boiled down to way too many things I didn't care for and not enough things I did.
